PROJECT FEATURE: Bellagio Dining Room
Gregarious and fun, dining rooms for me always need to toe the line between being chic yet approachable at the same time. Here is a more detailed look at one of the spaces we created within our Bellagio Whole Home project.
Guests feel appreciated in a festive environment, especially if they can feel completely at ease there too. Because, we situated this dining room at the entrance of the wine room, we wanted a space which felt intimate and cozy and conducive to easily grabbing another bottle.
The large table seats many, the high-back upholstered chairs are soft and in our known-for playful juxtaposition of color and pattern. With our unusual combinations of texture, pattern and color we highlight silhouettes and keep the eye interested and engaged in the space. An antique collection of porcelain, pairs nicely with the still life painting in such a soigné palette.
I bricked the entrance to the wine room in order to highlight its wonderful entrance architecture and enjoyed created a similar inlay in the floors. A beautiful and practical solution for continuous entertaining.
